Rafael Akopov
President

Rafael Akopov has been President since July 2008. In 2004-2008 he was CEO of ProfMedia. In October 2007 - March 2008 Mr. Akopov acted as Chairman of the Board of Prof-Media and CEO of KM Invest fund simultaneously. He has been a board member at Interros holding company since 2003. He also acted as the deputy CEO of Interros in 2003-2004. He held the position of deputy CEO at NTV television channel and was a Board of Director member at Gazprom Media in 2001-2003. He has also worked at the Sputnik group of companies and Renaissance Capital. He graduated from the Law Department of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, holds a Ph.D. in Law and a LLM degree from the University of Dundee, Scotland.

Julia Solovieva
Executive Vice-President

Ms. Solovieva has been Executive Vice-President since July 2008. From October 2007 till March 2008 she was CEO of ProfMedia, which she joined as First Deputy CEO in the beginning of 2007. In 2003-2006 she acted as a corporate development director at Mobile TeleSystems OJSC. Previously, she held position of a corporate development director at NTV Plus company. In 2001-2003 she was an associate of Booz Allen Hamilton, a Dutch consulting company. In 1994-1994 she held the position of a manager for telecommunication development of Global Telesystems. In 1997-1999 she was a director for operation and region development at Mary Kay. She graduated from the Moscow State Linguistic University, Faculty of Foreign Languages, and holds a MBA degree from Harvard Business School (Boston, USA).

Vladimir Pravdiviy
Vice-President for Finance

CFO at ProfMedia since 2006. In 2004-2006 he held the position of Finance Director at Mobile TeleSystems OJSC in North-West macro-region. In 2001-2004 - CFO at ABBYY Software House holding. In 1997-2001 he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Company. He graduated with honors from St. Petersburg’s State University of Economics and Finance.

Sergey Tikhonov
Vice-President for Investments

Mr. Tikhonov has worked at ProfMedia in his present capacity of Head of Strategy and Investments since 2004. His primary responsibilities include M&A, public market transactions and strategic analysis. In 2003-2004 he was investments director at Interros holding company, ProfMedia’s parent. Prior to joining Interros group Sergey spent 6 years as an investment banker working for Lehman Brothers in New York and for Renaissance Capital and ING Investment Banking in Moscow. He graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University and holds two graduate degrees - Master’s degree in Political Science from Columbia University and MBA degree from Columbia Business School. 

Olga Paskina
Vice-President for Legal and Corporate Development

Olga Paskina has been Vice-President for Legal and Corporate Development since July 2008. From March till June 2008 she was Legal and Corporate Development Director of ProfMedia. In 2002-2008 acted at SunInBev as a Legal Director and Personnel Director at different times. While working for SunInBev she carried out several M&A projects and completed corporate assets restructurization of the company in Russia. She also contributed to effectiveness of business. She obtained a degree in Law from Volgograd State University, after that she received her second degree in Economics from Volgograd Polytechnical University.  In 2007 she completed Executive management programme at Wharton University of Pennsylvania in partnership with Insead Business school.

Ekaterina Dolgosheeva
Director for Public Relations

Ekaterina has been the director for public relations since 2007. In 2004-2007 she held the position of correspondent at the daily newspaper Vedomosti. In 2002-2004 she was correspondent at the Kommersant publishing house.
She graduated from Plekhanov Academy (1997-2002) specializing in Economics and Management.
