ProfMedia is the largest private investor in the Russian cinema industry. Cinema has turned into one of the top priority areas of business for ProfMedia in 2002 after launching Cinema Park, a nationwide new-generation (NG) cinema network. Prof-Media’s partner in the Cinema Park project is the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

In 2005 ProfMedia Holding acquired a controlling stake in Central Partnership (CP), a diversified cinema firm which holds leadership positions in movie distribution and production. In cooperation with ProfMedia CP will expand its product mix and promote new distribution channels.
