The ProfMedia holding has made the decision to consolidate its Internet assets and develop a unified digital platform
Holding constituents Rambler Media and Afisha will be united within the framework of a single structure. The company will be built on the base of Rambler.

The General Director of the joined company will be Nikolay Molibog, who previously held the post of General Director at Afisha. Dmitry Stepanov and Yekaterina Kruglova, until recently deputy general directors at Afisha, will take on the positions of Products Director and Managing Director, respectively.

July 20, 2010 ProfMedia Finance closed the books for the debut ruble bond issue.
The issue is guaranteed by the parent company ProfMedia Limited. Nominal value of the issued bonds is RUB 3bln, maturity is 5 years (put option in 3 years). Semiannual coupon was set at 10.5% pa till put. Standard&Poor’s assigned a preliminary rating B+ to this issue.

Rambler Now Speaks Six Languages
Internet-portal Rambler in collaboration with Paragon Software, Russian PC and mobile phone software developers, launched a joint project Dictionaries)(http://dict.rambler.ru), specially created on the basis of the on-line version of MultiLex electronic dictionary. The solution from Paragon Software, which allowed to put together six languages at once (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Uzbek), replaced the earlier version of Rambler’s on-line dictionary and considerable expanded the functions provided by this service.

Multi-year agreement expanded to include digital media and events rights

Moscow/London, 2 June, 2010 – MTV Networks International (MTVNI), a division of Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), and ProfMedia Holding Co. and its subsidiary, Energia TV, today announced a multi-year agreement that will grant Energia TV the exclusive rights to continue broadcasting a free-to-air, localised MTV service in the Russian Federation.

New technology in the St. Petersburg Cinema Park Theatre
Two digital projectors from the Italian company Cinemeccanica, with Dolby 3D, will be installed in the largest premier hall with a capacity of 479 seats, at the Cinema Park Theatre in the Grand Canyon Shopping Centre. VKPM (Prof Media Broadcasting Corporation) Radio stations significantly increased their audiences
According to information from the latest wave of research by TNS (Taylor Nelson Sofres) Media Research (January-March 2010), the Avtoradio’s daily audience across Russia numbered 9,600,300. Compared to the same period of the previous year, Avtoradio’s ratings were up 10%, or in real terms 896,000 listeners.

Cinema Park is expanding its chain of modern multi-screen cinemas
The chain opened a seven-screen cinema in the Marmelad Shopping Center in Vologda. Cinema Park theatres are distinguished by their particular designer approach to interior design. The new theatre in Vologda is no exception – the interior is laid out in an unusual style: guests unexpectedly enter into… an exotic oceanic island. Passing through the airplane entrance, guests find themselves in the central foyer, which is decorated with landscapes reminiscent of the work of Paul Gauguin. The unusual design is the work of Italian architect Saura Sermengi and will certainly appeal to all the audiences in harsh northern Vologda.

The Avtomonitor Avtoradio project launches at the national level
This unique project by radio station Avtoradio and Internet company Yandex has been launched at the national level. In addition to Moscow and St. Petersburg, Avtomonitor Avtoradio was launched in a number of other Russian cities – Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Krasnoyarsk, Rostov-on-Don, and Voronezh. Avtomonitor Avtoradio is a new technology that allows monitoring a city’s road situation in real time mode. With its help, users can get precise information about traffic jams, accidents, and road works, map out routes around jams, and help other motorists better orient themselves in the flow of traffic by informing them about changes on the roads. Users can also see other Avtoradio pilots – project participants – on the map.

Central Partnership film company unveils its plans for state funds, received to from the Cinematography Support Fund
The company is planning to make a biopic about the director Sergei Paradzhanov. “The film Paradzhanov will be one of a group of films that will be in part funded by state money granted to Central Partnership in 2010,” said general director Ruben Dishdishyan.
