Cinema Park Opens in Nizhny Novgorod

30.12.2008

An eight-screen Cinema Park multiplex opened in Nizhny Novgorod on December 28. The movie theater is located in a major Fantasy shopping and entertainment center in Nizhny Novgorod and became the 13th one in a chain of the Cinema Park theaters, which helped the company step over the ONE HUNDRED screens mark.

The festive atmosphere reigned in the theater right from the morning hours. The characters from different film genres came in to entertain the visitors. Dashing cowboys from the American westerns taught the audience to throw lasso and shoot on comic targets to hot cancan rhythms; skillful ninjas showed their skills and shared their secret techniques with all those interested, while black "savages" engaged in their ritual dances and were available for photo opportunities. Little guests had a chance to meet the characters of their favorite cartoons and have their pictures taken together with the fairy-tale knights and space aliens.

The People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Victor Sukhorukov who lent his voice to the tsar character in the animated movie entitled Story about Fedot the Hotshot, which was released on the eve of the New Year, was a guest of honor at the event. A meeting with the favorite actor and an autograph session with him were warmly welcomed by the guests of the movie theater.

Grand opening of the movie theater was the high moment of the gala night. They cut the red ribbon to the sounds of fanfares and flashes of fiery fountains, which symbolized the official opening of the movie house.
