2x2 television channel will broadcast the new Shrek a week before the world premier

The new animated film Shrek Forever After will be shown on 14 May as part of the ‘Night of Animation’ festival. The fourth film in the Shrek franchise will be on world release from 21 May 2010.

The subject concerns the bored central character Shrek, who enters into a deal with the dwarf Rumplestiltskin and enters an alternative reality. The new animated feature will be released in 3D.
In addition to the final Shrek film, the festival will also host the premier of the new animated program The Cleveland Show, from the creator of Family Guy, Seth Macfarlane, as well as the film Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II.
