The Avtomonitor Avtoradio project launches at the national level
This unique project by radio station Avtoradio and Internet company Yandex has been launched at the national level. In addition to Moscow and St. Petersburg, Avtomonitor Avtoradio was launched in a number of other Russian cities – Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Krasnoyarsk, Rostov-on-Don, and Voronezh. Avtomonitor Avtoradio is a new technology that allows monitoring a city’s road situation in real time mode. With its help, users can get precise information about traffic jams, accidents, and road works, map out routes around jams, and help other motorists better orient themselves in the flow of traffic by informing them about changes on the roads. Users can also see other Avtoradio pilots – project participants – on the map.
Any motorist can join the program – all you have to do is register on the site http://probki.avtoradio.ru and leave the phone number of your telephone equipped with a GPS receiver, a special version of mobile application Yandex.Maps. You can follow the situation on the road either on the screen of your mobile phone, or in the special section of the site http://probki.avtoradio.ru. In addition, with the launch of the project nationally, the mobile offer now includes Chat Avtoradio, which allows ‘pilots’ to socialize online, make friends and help each other out on the roads. Each week the most active participants of the project – those who’ve spent the most time online – will receive gifts from Avtoradio. The project will soon be launching in other large cities where Avtoradio is broadcast.
